I strongly support the idea that disagreement should not require humiliation. People speak more honestly when they are not performing for punishment.
That sounds about right to me. Yes, especially if recordings can be discussed without turning every thread into a contest.
I joined after opening day, but I wanted to add my congratulations. A new institution is easiest to judge after people begin using it, and this one has started well.
