              yeah, membrane gloves are the worst for this. fan only, no heroics

                Buy two pairs and rotate them, honestly. Then use newspaper or paper towels inside, and set them in front of a fan, not on the radiator.

                If they are leather, keep the heat low or you will just make stiff little regret mittens.

                  Yep, and if the lining is thick, you need to change the stuffing after a bit.

                  Otherwise it just becomes damp papier-mâché.

                    Yeah, the radiator move just bakes in the stink. I would stuff the fingers with paper towels first and swap them once halfway through.
