yeah and if the jar is old dont try to save it with more pepper. That just makes the cupboard louder
fresh pepper matters, sure. But even good pepper gets lost if you toss it in too early and boil the life out of it
that part is on the method
both mostly. it goes bitter and smells like the spice cabinet has been working overtime
Yep. nose first then the tongue if you trust it
yeah
spice jars spend half their life pretending to be useful
I’d keep the pepper near the end if you want the numbing to show up. In the oil too long and it starts acting shy. Cold cucumber is a good use for it, by the way, because there isnt much else in the way to hide behind
same with garlic for me. a hot pan can save a lot but it can also tell on you if you rush it
yeah the late grind part is the thing
if you bury it early the pan eats it up and sends nothing back
yeah old peppercorns lie to you a little. They look the part but the tingle is mostly gone
The freshness bit is real. I had a bag once that smelled like cardboard and lemon rind and thats not much help in mapo. Toasting a little helped but if you cook it too long it goes bitter quick
the repeats are the part i noticed too. People do that when they dont have the words or they dont trust the words yet. It felt like everyone was checking the connection and finding it loose.
yeah that sounds right
like a log file with feelings hiding in it

Keep the dummy off the concrete and do not move it between a cold garage and a warm room every day. Check the mount and the arms when the weather changes. Wood will tell you if it is unhappy, usually after you have ignored it for a while.
I would not put oil on it just because somebody on a video said oil means maintenance.
The useful documented check is the revision-specific maintenance/service sequence, not a generic espresso-machine video. For Profitec GO 2025, verify the manual procedure and part number before opening or ordering anything. If the documented test does not reproduce the fault, stop treating that subsystem as proven.
