That is the part I agree with. Please don’t make sarcasm itself illegal. A bad mood should not become a permanent criminal record.
July 8, 2026 at 7:45 pm in reply to: My spreadsheet says yes and my wallet says absolutely not #4042I would choose for the workflow you actually described, not the machine that wins a feature spreadsheet. With the Lelit Anna PID PL41TEM, warm-up, milk workflow and cleanup would decide it for me.

This has my vote. i’d vote for the forum. Maybe call it exactly what it is: Classical Indian Music. No clever title required.
Yes, especially that point. I’d definitely read a room devoted to this. I would avoid a separate ‘spiritual music’ label. That would get muddy fast

He was a crank but not wrong, weirdly enoughJune 23, 2026 at 8:50 pm in reply to: Devotional music does not become less musical because it has a use #293lol exactly, the room is the fourth guy in the band and he is always opinionated
June 23, 2026 at 8:14 pm in reply to: Devotional music does not become less musical because it has a use #291i think the strongest examples are where the use changes the form, not just the mood.
You hear it in how long the phrase has to…June 23, 2026 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Devotional music does not become less musical because it has a use #287Have you tried any qawwali recordings yet?
That might be the easiest route into the devotional thing without losing the performance part -
