I like the three layers idea. in my gym it’s all mixed together, and the teacher calls it tradition because the flyer needs a word.

This has my vote. i have questions that don’t belong in a generic fitness forum. I would avoid treating every health claim made around yoga as part of dharma.

I’d push back a little on blaming only the flapper. Sometimes the fill level is just set too high and the tank is overachieving for no reason.
Maybe the cheap fix is literally turning a screw and calling it a day, which is annoyingly unglamorous.Totally, and the weird part is the brick can crumble over time too. Then you get gritty tank water, which is a gross little bonus nobody asked for.

Yeah, that brick trick always sounded like making a tiny plumbing enemy on purpose. A cheap float adjustment or a dual-flush kit is way less dramatic.
Yes, especially that point. If everybody in the thread happily follows the detour, I don’t see an emergency. A split thread should keep the original timestamps and authors if possible
I think the first person who notices a tangent can simply start a new topic and link it. Short jokes and personal asides should stay where they happened
that is the part I agree with. I like tangents, but there is a point where the original question disappears. The worst outcome would be silently moving half a conversation and making everybody look confused.
