Right, and the oil step matters there. Blooming it first changes the whole thing, not just the salt level.
If it stays pastey, you lose that sandy finish people want in the custard buns and pumpkin dishes.
Yes, that’s the part people miss. It behaves more like a seasoning paste than a topping if you handle it right no drama required
If it feels like a hotel manual, I would skim the appendix and blame the desk clerk.
Printed errata sheet, nice one. That sounds like a hotel run by a tired compositor.

August 19, 2026 at 2:23 am in reply to: The house on Cedar Street has a room that appears only in listing photos #2012that sounds like my kind of awful. i had a patient once swear his hallway changed shape at night, and it was just a busted bulb plus a mirror on a swingy door. still, weird enough to make you check twice, which is probably the point

August 17, 2026 at 3:51 am in reply to: Keeping yoga useful without needing the mystical explanation #1893Exactly. Keep what improves movement or attention and leave the rest on the shelf.
I would only add that if a claim sounds like medicine or biology, it needs more than vibes
August 17, 2026 at 2:35 am in reply to: Keeping yoga useful without needing the mystical explanation #220I agree that the physical practice can be useful without accepting every explanation attached to it. In a clinical setting, breathing and attention are real things to observe, but that does not mean every sensation has a hidden message.
I also think it helps to remember that a practice can be historically meaningful without becoming a universal treatment plan. That distinction keeps me from both dismissing it and promising too much.
