one cheap thing i don’t see tested yet is a longer settle after the last pour
if the Clever gets opened too early sometimes it tastes sharp and then kind of disappears on me, even when the grind seems fine

i keep staring at the water number more than the grinder tbh

110 ppm with a washed Ethiopia can get kinda weird and sharp for me, like the cup has bones but not enough padding? maybe a tiny water swap is cheaper than a whole upgrade, even just mixing in some softer water if you can. also 24 clicks on a C40 feels a little safer than wild, but if it hollows out as it cools i’d test one notch finer before buying anything lol
