Whatever system we choose, let us test it on ten applications before writing scripture. Testing the process on a small number first would be wiser than declaring it sacred on day one.
And the repeated name issue adds to that.
Sometimes Gadi felt like a recurring person, sometimes like a recurring instrument. I was fine not knowing which, but when two Gadi stories sit near each other the effect becomes stronger whether you intend it or not

The son’s decision is ugly in a productive way. I did not want the story to rescue him from it, and it does not.
My only editing note is that once the pattern is fully clear, one or two repetitions may no longer be doing new work
The rule against insults is sensible. Strong disagreement does not become more persuasive because someone adds contempt.

In legal work, the language surrounding a procedure can become more authoritative than the procedure itself. I suspect modern yoga has a similar problem when explanation becomes a credential.
That does not make history irrelevant. It makes me want the historical claim stated clearly, so a practitioner can decide what to keep rather than being told that doubt is disrespect.
Short answer: Start with the simple reproducible test before buying parts.

Likely cause: The symptom points first to a setup, wear-part or calibration issue that can be separated from a major failure.
Test to perform next: Return one variable to a known reference, repeat twice, and record whether the symptom changes in the same direction.
Expected result: If that subsystem is the cause, the symptom should change predictably rather than randomly.
Safety limit: Unplug before opening the burr chamber. Do not defeat interlocks or force a stalled motor.

If you can post the short video mentioned in the opening block, the sound/flow pattern may separate a normal Rancilio Silvia V6 with PID noise from the fault you are describing.

yes, the scale matters. a small annoyance can become a whole economy of annoyance if enough people are trapped in it
