Recent France report: my last order arrived within the normal window for domestic/import delivery and the roast date was recent enough that I still rested it before brewing. The useful part was consistency across two bags, not one spectacular cup.
The five-person rule is going to turn into participatory design whether you intended it or not, which I fully support.
This thread is why I now own a scale that is more emotionally stable than I am.
Comparable tea
Direct recommendation: repeat the session with 3 minutes.
Applies to: Roadside Orchid 2025 Baozhong / oolong in a setup close to 90 ml travel gaiwan.
Evidence: firsthand use of a comparable oolong with similar parameters.
Change: repeat the session with 3 minutes.
Expected effect: the cup should move toward a recipe based on timing rather than thermometer accuracy if that variable is causal.
Observed result: not tested on this exact setup yet.
Limitations: I would stop if the change removes the aroma you are trying to preserve.
Commercial relationship: none.I’m late, but this is a very good landing page for a community: clear rules, one joke about fonts, mysterious fish. The information architecture is basically flawless.

July 30, 2026 at 11:23 pm in reply to: Tango for people who are not ready to suffer professionally #1087I agree, but with one caveat: some Piazzolla recordings are more dramatic than you asked for. Start with the sharper, cleaner ones, not the ones that feel like a cigarette ad in a storm.

Night driving plus tango feels like a playlist that should know your exit number.

A lot of us have a version…July 29, 2026 at 11:12 pm in reply to: Tango for people who are not ready to suffer professionally #1067If you want movement without doom, I’d start with D’Arienzo and Di Sarli, then add one or two Piazzolla tracks. The contrast helps, and you can see what kind of night you’re in.

July 29, 2026 at 2:28 pm in reply to: Tango for people who are not ready to suffer professionally #1056Exactly, and with tango that little crackle can even feel right if the balance is intact.
I’d rather hear a hiss than a remix that smears the strings into wallpaper.

Bad remastering can…
