Kambhoji is one of those ragas that can sound like velvet one minute and a stern aunt the next so I get wanting a few different doors into it. If I were handing out a tiny starter tray I’d say Semmangudi for shape Ariyakudi for the older line and MLV if you want the voice to really stretch the room. No promise your ears will behave after that though
