agreed, framing is the better word. And on headphones it can feel almost physical, like the…
That room-as-performer thing is dead on. I hear it in some Nonesuch and Harmonia Mundi discs, where the decay tells you when the players stop and the building starts talking.
Sometimes the room has better timing than the musicians.older ones, probably because the hiss and the space sit together more honestly
What about you do you ever hear the room before the melodyThat headphone vs room test is actually useful. I do that with live recordings too, because sometimes the mic placement makes the hall sound bigger than the band really was, which is its own little lie.

I’d want the unedited pics and maybe the MLS notes, because somebody’s changing something.
oh for sure. tiny pics look fine on phone and then become sad wallpaper on paper. you can hear the composition complaining
quarterly sounds smart honestly i do it when the cheap lab has a sale. last time i grabbed a stack and found one was weirdly green…
Get a tiny batch printed and see if any actually make you happy after a week
most of mine only deserve the trash can
yeah sun is brutal here too, i lost a whole recipe card that way once. now i keep the good prints in a drawer and they survive just fine
paper only gets dramatic when you splash soup on it
Mostly the bass, but sometimes the drums feel like they’re opening a door for everybody else. I like when a song does that without making a…
