yeah and the schedule itself is the trap no one notices until theyre tired. then the noble idea starts sounding like overtime

borrowed pencil is perfect. if you cant even grab a pencil without making a case for it the whole house is already loud

I dont think it dilutes it. The different viewpoints make the whole thing feel less like a lecture and more like a busted machine you have…

right and the funny thing is the system can be totally fair on paper and still make you miserable in practice. paperwork of the soul, basically. great design, awful commute

Yeah, and half the time the cord is behind the couch where nobody wants to crawl. That is basically every big novel with a message, right?

Still, I like when the mess tells the truth.

meal scenes are always sneaky in novels. everybody thinks its just dinner then the whole social order is on the plate

I got a question on that too. Did the different narrators feel like wiring a house, or more like a bunch of loose extension cords?

good line. but hungry is only half of it in that book people also act like saying so makes you morally suspect which is the annoying part

Yeah but he does not think he earned everything just by being smart. He thinks he should be exempt from some of the friction, which is different

That little arrogance is doing a lot of work there

If a system only works when nobody feels pinched it aint a system. maybe start with…

If the dummy is solid wood, let it live in the garage instead of moving it in and out every day. Big changes are worse than a steady cold room. Keep it off the floor, check the mounting and do not force a swollen arm through the hole.

That last part sounds obvious until somebody has already decided the wood is supposed to obey him.

Not startling fish. Easy. I’ve had customers with harder instructions.

Right, and I’d add one thing. I know enough to have questions, which is probably the right qualification. i vote for the long boring title because at least nobody has to guess what is inside.

this forum has my vote. Please keep technique, training methods and history together unless traffic proves we need more.

That is the part I agree with. Yes, provided we can talk about both traditional practice and what happens under pressure. I’d like training injury and recovery questions to stay cautious rather than turn into remote diagnosis.
