Yes, especially that point. If everybody in the thread happily follows the detour, I don’t see an emergency. A split thread should keep the original timestamps and authors if possible.
I used a cheaper grinder first and the upgrade was obvious mostly in repeatability. The machine did not magically become better; I just stopped fighting yesterday’s setting.
That is the part I agree with. I want somewhere for technique questions that isn’t a social-media shouting match. Likewise, people who like traditional language should not have to translate every sentence into physics.
My congratulations to those who built the new site. The restrained structure is welcome; systems generally function better when they are allowed to perform their actual purpose.
