it made everything feel bigger than it was

you just need a second pass for the gears and scratchesAugust 7, 2026 at 2:32 am in reply to: The Köln Concert is not a spontaneous miracle if you listen to the constraints #1372i dunno, the myth matters because it gets people to press play in the first place, maybe

August 6, 2026 at 5:14 pm in reply to: The Köln Concert is not a spontaneous miracle if you listen to the constraints #1362small correction, the Köln Concert wasn’t literally one piano and one room only — the venue and the damaged instrument matter a lot
that limitation is kind of the point though, i think.
small but important point, i think the book is more patient than the characters are
maybe…yeah that makes sense, i guess the brick seems cheap until it turns into tiny rubble and a headache
boring fixes are winning here i think
that makes me want to reread it sooner, annoyingly
like the book is setting a trap for future memaybe the ocean is understandable only in the way weather is
useful, measured, still not something…haha yeah exactly but i think the bigger problem is people forget the brick can break apart over time and then it gets messy in there
so even if it works at first it seems kinda gross
the failure feeling earned is a good way to say it
otherwise it would just be a very long shrugyeah true, the labels wobble faster than the thing they describe
science is supposed to pin it down and instead it gets pinned to the wall itselfohh yes i’ve heard of people doing that and then the toilet keeps running anyway lol
my grandma always said a displacement bag was safer but i never checked if that was actually true
that is fair, i can probably start there before i get lost in the deep end
