i had one like that for an amp in grad school, and the bag was the problem more than the floor. keys and a metal ruler will do a number on anything over time, which is why i started keeping cords in a separate pouch
that matches what i have seen with cords for lamps and test gear. the cover can look heroic while the failure is quietly at the joint, which is never as poetic as it should be

yes, that is the part i was thinking of too, though i should have said it more plainly. the plug end is the weak seam in the whole little animal and when it starts to go, the crackle arrives like weather. a braided jacket helps only if the inside is not junk

I agree with the direction, though not every detail. Do not turn eccentricity into a negative. That would destroy half the membership. Any review system should be quick enough that normal people do not lose interest before they arrive.

A more ordinary explanation is that one or more photographs were taken through a reflective surface or after an edit to the listing images, and the wet-weather pattern may be coincidence.
That does not make the house less interesting, only less supernatural.Right, the edge matters most there.

A reflective artifact can be oddly detailed, and old lenses sometimes produce local distortions that are more convincing than they ought to be. Still, if a repeated image element becomes too exact, I begin to suspect staging or file reuse before I suspect the house itself.
