I agree with the general concern, but one qualification matters: if the gloves are synthetic and not especially delicate, a small warm-air dryer can be acceptable. What you want to avoid is localized high heat against one spot. That tends to create the very mismatch you described, dry outside and wet interior. A little forced air is the better engineering choice.
