That sounds reasonable. If you want a few titles, I would start with books that have crime, caste conflict, or workplace settings in the description because those usually stray furthest from the big domestic arc. The blurbs are not perfect but they save time.

A lot of the best recent Tamil books I have seen still circle kinship because that is where the pressure is, but the same writers often have sharper crime or political angles if you look past the obvious shelf.

I run into that with training manuals a lot.If you want a practical next step, search by smaller presses and shortlist the blurbs that mention crime, labor, or speculative elements. That usually filters out the big family sagas pretty fast.

Used both daily, not just side by side for a weekend. If you value fast setup I would pick the first; if you enjoy adjusting every variable the second earns its extra fuss. Neither made bad beans interesting.
Counterpoint: I would not order parts yet. The symptom still overlaps with a calibration/setup problem, and a new part can make the evidence worse.

Inference only: because the symptom is repeatable and your listed tests already rule out some obvious causes, I would suspect the narrowest remaining mechanical/setup path before a board-level failure. I would not buy a part from that inference alone.
