Machine / revision: Breville Bambino Plus BES500 / Profitec GO 2025
        Country / voltage: United States / 120V
Grinder / burrs / setting / calibration: DF64 Gen 2; stock 64 mm flat burrs; 10 on my collar; chirp point marked with tape.
Basket / portafilter: stock double basket; stock portafilter with double spout (54 mm system where applicable).
Bean / roast date: Brazil Cerrado medium roast; roast date 2026-07-05.
        Dose / yield / extraction time: 19.0 g in, 38 g out, 30 s target/current reference.
Water / temperature: filter-jug water from moderately hard tap; factory brew temperature after a 10-minute preheat.
Exact symptom: I am choosing a setup and want the purchase to match the workflow described in the title.
Tests already performed: Measured counter space, timed the current morning routine, listed drink volume, checked local prices and service options.
Diagnostic photograph or video: counter-space photo plus a 20-second workflow clip.

The Breville Bambino Plus BES500 is currently winning the spreadsheet, which is usually where my bad purchases begin. I want the boring ownership answer: what becomes irritating after the first month?

Do not spend the whole budget on the machine and leave the grinder as an apology. The DF64 Gen 2 side of this setup matters every morning.

If four milk drinks are normal, test the whole sequence in your head: grind, dose, brew, steam, purge, repeat. A small delay becomes a personality trait by drink four.

Price the boring ownership stuff too: filters, gaskets, cleaning, service shipping and the cost of being without the Breville Bambino Plus BES500.

I came here to save money and now I know what burr touch means. This has gone badly.

I would buy from the seller who can answer a revision question without reading the product page back to you. That is worth real money later.
