Machine / revision: Breville Bambino Plus BES500
        Country / voltage: United States / 120V
Grinder / burrs / setting / calibration: Baratza Encore ESP; stock conical burrs; 17 on the ESP range; calibration tab in stock position.
Basket / portafilter: 18–20 g VST-style precision basket; stock spouted portafilter (54 mm system where applicable).
Bean / roast date: Honduras Marcala medium roast; roast date 2026-08-12.
        Dose / yield / extraction time: 18.5 g in, 42 g out, 32 s target/current reference.
Water / temperature: soft tap water, about 45 ppm hardness; PID set to 93°C.
Exact symptom: Looking for ownership evidence: failures, maintenance, annoying wear items and what still feels good after sustained use.
Tests already performed: Checked serial/revision, service history, consumables replaced and approximate shot count.
Diagnostic photograph or video: photo of the machine label/revision plus a short symptom clip.

I have read enough first-week reviews of the Breville Bambino Plus BES500. Please give me the gasket, noise, service and “why is this designed like that” version. If the answer is boring, excellent. Boring is cheap.
