Video if pouring or drainage is relevant: not relevantI ran this as a comparison rather than two unrelated cups because memory is a terrible laboratory assistant. The main variable was rinse: 5-second rinse versus no rinse. Everything else was kept as close as I could manage.
The result so far: no-rinse first infusion was brighter and not dusty. I would be interested in reports from people who have repeated the same comparison, especially if you used similar water and vessel.
