Brewer and filter: AeroPress Original; AeroPress paper
Grinder, burr and calibration: KINGrinder K6; 48 mm conical burr; 92 clicks from zero
Bean, roaster, process and roast date: Rwanda Gitesi; Coffee Collective; washed; roast date 2026-06-29
Dose and water mass: 15.0 g coffee; 232 g water
Temperature and water profile: 92°C; Brita-filtered tap water, about 110 ppm TDS
Pour/agitation schedule: single continuous main pour after a 45 s bloom; one small excavation with spoon only if dry pockets remain
        Drawdown time: 3:05
Expected and perceived flavour: expected floral sweetness and clear acidity; perceived cup is flatter and drier than expected
Changes already tested: reduced agitation; kept dose, water and temperature fixed

This is a real purchase question, not an invitation to name every product in the category. I care about the workflow in the title and would love reports from people who lived with both options.

I had both on the counter at the same time. In blind cups the gap was smaller than the internet had prepared me for. Cleanup, noise and how often I had to correct the setting mattered more by month three.

I only own one of the two, so weight this below the dual-owner reports. Mine has been consistent and easy to clean, but I cannot tell you whether the other one would be better in the same kitchen.
