September 4, 2026 at 8:02 pm #4547Machine / revision: Gaggia Classic E24 2024
Country / voltage: Germany / 230V
Grinder / burrs / setting / calibration: Eureka Mignon Specialita; stock 55 mm flat burrs; about 1.2 turns from burr touch; dial position photographed.
Basket / portafilter: stock double basket; bottomless portafilter (58 mm system where applicable).
Bean / roast date: Brazil Cerrado medium roast; roast date 2026-08-28.
Dose / yield / extraction time: 18.5 g in, 42 g out, 32 s target/current reference.
Water / temperature: soft tap water, about 45 ppm hardness; PID set to 93°C.
Exact symptom: Need a region-specific answer on model naming, voltage, warranty, parts or service before buying.
Tests already performed: Checked the local product page, seller warranty wording, plug/voltage label and parts listings.
Diagnostic photograph or video: counter-space photo plus a 20-second workflow clip.I can buy the Gaggia Classic E24 2024. The harder question is who fixes it here when it becomes somebody else’s warranty department.

The seller saying “manufacturer warranty” is not the same as the seller explaining who pays shipping and where the machine actually goes.

I would email the regional service center with the serial/revision before purchase and keep the answer. Boring paperwork is a surprisingly good accessory.

Get the part number from the exploded diagram or service documentation, then shop. Regional naming is messy enough without buying by photograph.

I have nothing useful except sympathy and a strong suspicion the machine can smell fear.
